Today I bought an orchid that was previously owned and cared for by a greenhouse. It still has all of the old flower stalks on it and I was wondering if I can remove them? If I can, can you please tell me how to? There are about 15 of them, they are rather unsightly.
New orchid?
Yes, you should remove old flower stems. Cut them off about an inch from where they originate from the plant. They will eventually dry up completely and you will be able to remove them.
Reply:remove them
Reply:Take them off and feed them to little children...
