An orchid I can grow on a porch in Louisiana?

I'm looking for a type of orchid that would do well in hot and humid Louisiana. I want it to be on the porch in a little hanging wooden basket, where it would receive no direct sunlight. The humidity is almost always above 60% during the day, except during winter, and the summers get very hot. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Dedrobiums need LOTS of light, so probably wouldn't be suitable. Phalaenopsis are more low light and in the set-up you're describing would probably do great, even without any direct light. Paphiopedilums (lady slippers) need similar requirements to phals and would probably also do well. But my advise is to check out :

Yeah, I know it's a canadian site, but they have some great culture info. Take a peek and see what you can find. I'd kill to live in an area like yours with some humidity!
Reply:the weather is correct for the orchid watering two times a day until cool need vitamin burplex tablets once a month at the botom of the roots .in summer need 30% sun in your place in winter 50% sun light spray N.P.K 15/15 /15 with spray bottle once a month .any kind of orchid is good for your place .
Reply:Go to your local nursery and buy one, with your humidity it should do well
