White Butterfly Orchid...?

Tips fpr caring for an orchid. Anything else. Thank you!

White Butterfly Orchid...?
Orchids are tropical, in the right environment they thrive with little work. Think tropical, Lots of rain water in the summer. Very little water in the winter. Lots of humidity in the summer, 90% to 100%, dry humidity 50% TO 60% in the winter. Bright filtered sunlight, with lots of air movement. Feed in the summer, often with weak fertilizer, twice a month. Cut back in the winter. I have a Butterfly Orchid growing in a tree in the back yard. But, I like in SW Florida. I feed it very little, nature takes care of it. I never water. The natural rain takes care of it. Set a weather sight on your browser for a tropical city. Water you orchid when it rains, don't water when it does not. Be sure the plant drains fast, no standing water.
Reply:obcourse you have to put eggwhite left to the shells of an egg to the plant ...for nourishment as fertilizer....
