I have a fireplace and on the mantle right now I have a paper white, but I dont really like it. I would like to get an orchid but not sure how long it will last...I dont have a green thumb so I have no idea.....

Here are three orchid websites. One of them should tell how long they stay in bloom. Oh, and when watering, take care not to get the leaves wet.
